Research

Water resources sustainability, agricultural nutrient cycling and 4R nutrient stewardship, evaluation of agricultural Best Management Practice (BMP) effectiveness for soil and water conservation.

Currently leading a multi-state soil health, farmer-to-farmer outreach project. There are 30 sites with sensors installed to collect real-time soil moisture and temperature data. Farmers are encouraged to share data 'over the fence row' to learn how management impacts climate resiliency.
