What drives you to be a BBE Ambassador? As a BBE ambassador, I get the opportunity to give back something to the department by promoting it and encouraging more young people to join and thrive in this field.
What are your long-term career goals? I would like to conduct research in diagnosis and prevention of infectious diseases caused by microorganisms in humans, animals and plants and eventually transition to science communication in this field.
What is your favorite thing about our Department? The diverse research problems addressed in BBE are great resources for learning and career opportunities. The faculty is very helpful too.
What are your additional extracurricular activities, hobbies and/or interests? When I get time off for myself, I love to travel and explore new places, especially those of historical importance and with good food! In my free time, I like to read novels, watch YouTube, write short stories and sometimes try DIY crafts using recyclable materials.
What is a fun fact about you? I know to speak four languages and have learned to read and write six languages (three Indian and three European).
