What drives you to be a BBE Ambassador?
When I was a senior in high school searching for colleges and degree programs that fit my interest, my campus visit to the U and time spent talking with other current students in the degree was what convinced me that this was what I wanted to study. Our department encompasses many different interests, and I love spreading the news about what the department and my classmates are learning and doing.
What are your long-term career goals?
After college, I hope to work in the food production industry. I specifically am interested in production engineering, specifically, conservation of resources and helping facilities to be more efficient.
What is your favorite thing about the department?
The students are a tight-knit group, and someone is always willing to help you learn and grow if you ask.
What are your additional extracurricular activities, hobbies, and/or interests?
I try to be a familiar face at the campus Ballroom Dance Club and the weekly Spanish conversation hours at Bordertown Coffee. I also sing with the Grace University Church choir.
What is a fun fact about you?
My friend and I once road-tripped more than 3,000 miles in less than a week.
