Come and Learn More About the Department's Latest Research! All Are Welcome!
The 2019 Research Poster Session and Networking Reception is on Wednesday (October 23rd) from 3:30-5:00 in the North Star Ballroom in the St. Paul Student Center.
There will be free food, and you can talk with our faculty, graduate students, post-docs, and UROP students about their recent research! Posters will cover at least 7 out of our 8 key research areas. Learn about Snober Ahmed's research in "Rapid and PCR-free DNA Detection of Invasive Species by Nanoaggregation-Enhanced Chemiluminescence Assay." Snober is a post-doc in Associate Professor Abbas' lab. Current Ph.D. student, Leif van Lierop will be present to talk about his research into "Novel Associations between Phosphate Accumulating Fungi and Plants for Improved Uptake." These are just a few of the interesting posters that will be at this event. Students and faculty will also have opportunities to network with industry professionals who will be there!
We can't wait to see you there! Admittance is free! A full list of posters that will be at this event can be found here.
