What does “sustainable use of renewable resources and enhancement of the environment” mean?
These one-credit orientation courses provides an overview of the significance of sustainable resource science and technology to the environment, economies, and industries in the Midwest, America, and the world. You will meet a range of BBE faculty, current students, and industry executives who will introduce you to major, as well as current concepts and topics.
BBE1001 is required for all Bioproducts and Biosystems Engineering students and SSM1004 is required for all Sustainable Systems Management students. They are also open to all students within or outside of the University of Minnesota system.
